4.1 SUPERVISION AND MOTIVATION
THE CLEANING SUPERVISOR SHALL:
• Supervision of all aspects of the Cleaning Service element of the contract
• Carry out cleaning duties as required by the contract
• Ensure all areas are cleaned to specification as directed by the Facilities Manager
• Be fully conversant with and practice all Safety policies and procedures
• Carry out spot checks and audits of the cleaning service ensuring all short comings are
addressed by thecleaning staff and reported to the Facilities Manager
• Record and report any Health and Safety issues to the Manager.
• Ensure all materials, chemicals and machinery are utilized in accordance with office
proceduresincluding risk assessments, method statements and safety and health
assessments
• Ordering cleaning materials and stock control
• Manage cleaning rosters taking into account all leave to ensure all aspects of the contract
are met.
• Supervise all cleaning staff to ensure cleaning standards are maintained
• Cleaning supervisor to carry out induction, training and refresher training of cleaning
staff and keepingrecords of such training
• Any other reasonable duties required by the Facilities Manager to ensure the effective
and efficient deliveryof the contract.
